A normal person with

a quite interesing legacy

There are three pivotal moments that have shaped my life up to this point, and I will share them all here for you to know about me:

2011: A Partner for Life

Destiny orchestrated a pivotal encounter—the moment when I crossed paths with my future life partner. Our serendipitous meeting occurred within the hallowed halls of the Literature Class at VNU-HCM High School for the Gifted. Over the subsequent decade, our relationship evolved from that of high school companions to romantic partners. Despite geographical separation due to our studies abroad after high school, our commitment endured for six years, during which each of us focused on our own dreams. Finally, in 2021, we solemnized our union in marriage.

Her influence on my life has been profound. From introverted young man, I transformed into a courageous dreamer, unafraid to pursue aspirations that once seemed distant. Her unwavering support catalyzed this metamorphosis.

This chapter of my life, marked by love, companionship, and shared dreams, has indelibly shaped my journey. As I reflect upon our ten-year odyssey, I am filled with gratitude for the person she has helped me become—a man who dares to dream and dares to follow those dreams.

2020: A New Beginning

I returned to Vietnam and embarked on a new chapter as a police officer. The photograph captures the moment when I received the prestigious Best Graduate Award from The Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam for the 2020 school year. This event marked the commencement of my adult life—a phase where I have the privilege to serve my country and its people, a lifelong ideal.

My journey has been one of relentless pursuit. I absorbed knowledge and wisdom from esteemed professors, delving into diverse realms such as economics, philosophy, law, forensic science, and military training.

Each lesson, each experience, was a stepping stone leading to this very juncture—the moment when I stand ready to contribute to the safety and well-being of my nation.

As I step into this role, I carry with me the weight of responsibility and the fervor of purpose. It is not merely a career; it is a calling—an unwavering commitment to protect, to uphold justice, and to safeguard the ideals that define us. From this point onward, I dedicate myself to the service of my fellow citizens, guided by the principles instilled during my arduous journey of preparation

2022: A Father's Choice

The third and most profound turning point in my life arrived with the birth of my daughter. It thrust me into a challenging dilemma: should I persist as a police officer, dedicated to fighting crime and following the prestigious path laden with ideals and promise? Or should I pivot toward a different career—one that would afford me time with my daughter, even if it meant abandoning everything I’ve learned and the relationships I’ve built, to venture into the unknown?

As you may already know, I opted for the latter. Many times since then, people—my family, friends, and former colleagues—have questioned whether I regret my decision. Honestly, I harbor no regrets. The rigorous training and learning experiences during my tenure as a police officer equipped me with essential competences. Yet, above all, I gained two invaluable skills

Perspective: I learned to view problems from multiple angles, understanding their nuances and complexities. This skill allows me to approach challenges with depth and empathy.

Interpersonal Acumen: Policing taught me how to collaborate with people—to listen, negotiate, and build bridges. These skills extend beyond law enforcement; they serve me well in every facet of life.

So, while I no longer chase criminals through dimly lit streets, I chase dreams alongside my daughter. Parenthood, with its blend of pragmatism and heart, has become my greatest adventure. And love—the most formidable weapon—is my compass.
